SOFAMO, French manufacturer since 1982

For 40 years, the Sofamo factory has been manufacturing high-quality furniture for the whole family in Charente-Maritime, combining design, sturdiness, safety and durability. Baby cot, children's bed, dresser, wardrobe, bookcase, desk or bedside table, you will find all the essentials for a bedroom.

Constantly seeking innovation, our factory has quickly become a benchmark in the eco-friendly wooden furniture sector. This is why you will find some of our furniture on several reseller sites with their own brand. Furniture obviously always available as a preview on our Chambrekids.com site, thus offering you all the guarantees of a manufacturer.

Creation of Chambrekids, a resolutely committed brand

In 2010, with the rise of the internet and changing consumer habits, Sofamo decided to create the Chambrekids brand. It is now the official sales site of the Sofamo factory. It specializes, just like its factory, in baby and children's furniture. Solid and durable furniture, but also genuine customer service by your side.

Located in the offices right next to the factory, an entire team is dedicated to meeting your needs: from advice on your purchase to after-sales service. Chambrekids aims to highlight all the factory's expertise and promote local, more responsible and more ethical consumption.

European Union subsidy

In 2022, the investment in 2 Biesse Rover A1532 and Rover B Edge 1667 machining centers enabling the optimization of our manufacturing methods, our competitiveness, our quality approaches, our work comfort were co-financed by the European Union with the European Development Fund.

Furniture that respects the planet and children

Sofamo considers respect for the environment as an essential component in its organization. If 100% French manufacturing seemed obvious to us, we wanted to go even further to offer you furniture that respects the planet and our children.

Strict ecological standards have been put in place to address environmental challenges. Use of wood from eco-managed forests and PEFC certified, ecological generation wood panels or even water-based paints without solvents, nothing has been left to chance. Our furniture breathes, and so do your children!

At Chambrekids, we favor a short circuit and 100% local production for the manufacture of our furniture.

From furniture design with our integrated design office, through production, application of water-based paint to shipping, everything is done in our factory.

And if you were wondering where our dedicated customer service team is located, it is also located in the factory offices in Andilly. To be completely honest with you, even our marketing team is here!
