What is a trundle bed?

Simply put, the trundle bed is a children's bed and teen bed that contains another one. It's often a 90x190 bed to which a second bed and mattress are added in the form of a drawer. The principle is simple: the bed has a main sleeping area as well as what's called a trundle drawer.

Indeed, we position the trundle bed with integrated mattress under the main bed designed for this purpose. Practical and easy to use, the trundle drawer is mounted on casters and has a metal base for more solidity. Thanks to its retractable legs, the trundle bed rises to the same height as the main bed. However, you can separate the 2 sleeping areas to get two separate children's beds.

The trundle bed makes it easy to sleep two people (child, teenager or adult) while optimizing space in the bedroom.
