The changing table or changing unit is an essential accessory in a baby's room. Diaper changes, washing, and care all happen on this small accessory. It's a small piece of furniture that will be very useful from birth until your little angel turns 3. Your changing table or unit must be sturdy and comfortable to lay your baby down and change them safely. Usually placed in the baby's room for practicality, you can also install it in your bathroom. The changing pad

A changing pad consists of a mattress and is removable. You can install it above your bathtub, your baby's bed, or on top of a dresser. Very practical, the changing pad takes up little space, making it an ideal accessory for small nurseries.

The changing table

Unlike a changing pad, the changing table consists of a changing pad with a mattress, fixed on a four-legged support with several storage shelves for all the toiletries needed to keep your little angel clean.

The changing surface is comfortable for both your baby and you thanks to its ideal height to avoid bending over when changing your little one.

It's a small piece of furniture that takes up very little space, some models have wheels to move them from room to room effortlessly.

The wall-mounted changing table

As its name suggests, the wall-mounted changing table attaches to the wall of the baby's room or your bathroom. When unfolded, it provides storage above the changing surface within easy reach for changing baby safely.

The wall-mounted changing table is ideal if you have a small space in your little angel's room, if you want a clean and tidy decoration for your child's room it's still the ideal model since once folded, the changing table no longer shows all your toiletries, only a large colored or plain rectangle will be visible on the wall of the room like a monochrome painting.

The changing unit

For parents who are lucky enough to have plenty of space in their little one's room, the changing unit is ideal.

This dresser-like piece of furniture offers plenty of storage space allowing you to store all your toiletries as well as your baby's clothes.

Additionally, the changing unit is convertible since the changing top can be removed to become a simple dresser for storing your child's clothes when they're older and toilet trained.

The changing pad

The changing pad is essential for your baby's comfort during changes. This accessory is inexpensive and very practical, you can easily transport it wherever you want, you can place it on any surface to change your baby (table, bed, dresser...).

PVC is the most commonly used material, it's very easy to clean but not very pleasant for your little one's skin, so it's recommended to put a towel or terry cloth cover on the pad.

For safety reasons, we recommend investing in a changing unit to avoid any risk of falling, as a pad can easily slip when placed on a smooth surface such as a dresser or table.

Also remember to test the sturdiness and stability of your changing pad or table before using it for the first time.

When your child is lying on your changing table or pad, never leave them unattended, always keep one hand on them. If your child is restless while you're changing them, give them a toy to keep them occupied.
